i woke up at the crack of dawn and muddled my way to work. when i got there however, i realized that i was not scheduled at 7:45 a.m, but in fact 2 p.m. At least I got a Vanilla Rooibos Latte for the ride home.

merriweather post pavilion by Animal Collective
probably there best collection of work to date. up-beat, catchy, and at times makes you want to dance. they’ve taken there sound in a somewhat new direction, but it still sounds very familiar. if you have access to this album i highly recommend getting it. it’s worth every bit of ratio!

when you are having a casual conversation with a man in a friends home, sitting on the fireplace, and then after the conversation has ended and the man has left, it is brought to your attention that he has been one of the main photographers shooting for national geographic for the past 30 years.
